During my school years, I worked as a temp in a hotel again and again and really enjoyed the interaction with the guests. I found this very unique world extremely fascinating. This certainly led me to choose the hotel industry. Giving guests an unforgettable stay is a beautiful job.
The hotel business and the hospitality industry are shaped by people, so funny situations happen regularly. A guest recently arrived with 6 cats, which inevitably led to very funny and surreal situations.
With my family. My two children are a wonderful distraction from my rather stressful professional life and give me a lot of love and strength.
My favourite place and the most beautiful vantage point is on the terrace of the Rachmaninoff Suite. Especially as a guest, you can spend many quiet and undisturbed minutes there. The suite itself also has an ambience that invites you to relax.
Lucerne is a picturesque place and offers many great views into the past and present. The Gütsch is certainly one of them.
I finished high school in Germany. I then moved to Cologne for an apprenticeship as a businesswoman. For family reasons, I then moved to Lucerne in beautiful Switzerland. At the beginning it was a bit difficult because many things work differently than in Germany. Now I feel very comfortable and at home in Lucerne. I wouldn’t want to miss the city of Lucerne and the unique region. Even during my holidays, I miss the Gütsch after just a few days. It’s a great pleasure to spend my working day like this.
